Propak, a member of the PLA Family of Companies, was recently recognized as the 2021 “Dedicated Fleet Carrier of the Year” at Transplace’s 2022 Carrier Symposium in Arlington, Texas. Propak has operated the Transplace Dedicated Fleet in Denver for several years, and recently began operating the Dedicated Fleet in Salt Lake City when asked to ramp up this fleet on short notice to maintain service levels. Propak was honored with this award for its service excellence, agility, and responsiveness in both locations; awards are based on client feedback as well as input from Transplace account teams.
“The Propak team is honored to receive this recognition from Transplace,” said Steve Clark, President and CEO of Propak. “We’re proud of our partnership and it’s continued growth and look forward to many more years of service to Transplace and its customers.” Propak’s Dedicated Fleet Operations business currently serves a variety of customers in seven markets with a fleet of 30 trucks, over 600 trailers, and 40 full-time drivers.
Transplace’s annual Carrier Symposium is in its 8th year and played host to education sessions with an emphasize on trending topics in the logistics industry, as well as acknowledgment for the transportation carriers who work alongside Transplace in providing exceptional support to their clients. The Award selection process examines overall service of each account, tender acceptance, customer support, response times, accuracy in work, and invoice and status turnaround times.
